Cheers for looking at my blog!
Following a highly unsuccessful dissertation of Seamus Heaney’s re-imaginings of mythology, a brief encounter with Old Norse and an essay on Friel, I STILL love Irish literature!! A preoccupation of mine in these works is concerned with the artist’s voice finding an Irish identity, if any. I hope you enjoy reading these eclectic extracts from my favorite poets, playwrights and artists.
Poag Ma Hoan, the Irish Gaelic saying “po’g mo tho’in” translates succinctly to “Kiss my Arse”.
